01. Dr. Muhammad Yunus


Dr. Muhammad Yunus was born in the village of Bathua on june 28 1940 in Chittagong. He completed his post graduation in Economics in 1961 from The University of Dhaka.

He was Appointed by Bangladesh government planning commission but he found the job as boring and resigned the post as head of the Economics department from Chittagong University. He founded the Grameen bank which was being started from the Village Jobra. Now he is considered as the path finder of small loan for the no land holder.


Dr. Yunus became very successful entrepreneur and  awarded the Nobel peace prize in 2006 with the institution Grameen Bank.

                

   02.  Abul Kalam Azad 

    

Abul Kalam Azad is a very young and energetic entrepreneur  the chairman of Hameem Group. He was born in Faridpur district on December 31, 1959 in a Muslim family. He is a very talent industrialist. He owned the graduation degree from Dhaka University in Applied physics.

He started the business after hhis graduation. Mr Azad Overcame many difficulty in his business life and lastly gained as he established the business namely Ha-Meem group of co. The Ha-Meem group is now a famous in home and abroad and the institution is moving forward  oever the country and contributing in the GDP. 




The Ha-Meem group is contributing in the Bangladeshi main export oriented sector RMG. Mr Azad is playing  the role to create the market of the RMG in abroad. He became The president Bangladeshi chamber and commerce and industy.



                 03. Samsan H. Chiudhury



Samson H. Choudhury was born in pabna in September 25 1925. he was the chairman of the Square group. He completed his graduation degree from Cambridge university.

He started his work in the village Ataikula in Pabna after competing his education life in 1952. H e started a pharmacy there at first and day by day he founded the co Square and recognized as a Global business leader in Bangladesh.

He was the president of National Church Council of Bangladesh. He was considered as a CIP in Bangladesh. The Square Group is now a publicly listed co and yearly turnover 616 million USD. He was also the chairman of Mutual Trust Bank and owned the top position in many institution in Bangladesh.



                     04. Dr. Atiur Rahman

Atiur Rahman was born in Jamalpur District in a poor family in 1951. He is the Governor of Bangladesh BANK. He is noted for his writing on popular issue of Economics and has written many books in English and Bengali. His father was so poor that a landless farmer
Atiur stopped his education in class three because of poverty. He had to attend his examination without any class. In the time of result he found that his name on the top.

Atur’s mother was literate and she was the first teacher of him. This is the childhood but as he was very determined for his success he passed the post graduation in economics freom Dhaka University. For his good result he got the scholarship of commonwealth. And obtained the Ph.D. in 1977. In the way of success he was appointed as the governor of Bangladesh bank.

                    

05. Sir Fozle Hasan Abed

Sir Fozle Hasan Abed was born in Hobiganj in 1936. He attended the Glasgow University then studied Naval Architecture. Later on some days Abed joined the Chartered institute of Management accountants in London after completing his education in 1962. Mr. Abed returned in Bangladesh and joined shell oil company and became the head of the financial department. After the liberation war he started his work with forming the BRAC. BRAC operates more than 59000 villages in Bangladesh and abroad.
BRAC is now international organization. He founded the Brac Bank in 2001. Mr Abed is the chairman and president in many national and international organization.    

 06.  Abu Nasher Muhammad  Abduz Zaher

ANM Abdu Zaher is the Chairman of the first and leading islami bank in Bangladesh Islami Bank Bangladesh ltd. He was born in Noakhali in 1948.




He started his professional life with teaching in a college after he passed the masters degree from Rajshahi University.



After a few days he joined the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Dhaka and stayed there thirteen years.


Now He is the MD of Ibn Sina and the chairman of Islami bank. He is also a founding member of Fuad AL Khatib foundation, Ibn Sina college ETC.
               

  07. Iqbal Z quader

Iqbal Z quader is well knowned to us as the successful founder of Gonophone and Grameen phone. He born in 1958 in Jessore district.

He graduated in from Sarthmore college and passed the Masters degree in 1983 under the university of Pennsylvania in USA.


Mr Quader was a consultant to the world bank in USA and the vice president of Atriam Capital corp. In 1996-1999 Mr Quader founded the Grameenphone in Bangladesh Which was the most demandable for the time.

After founding the Grameenphone many poor Bangladeshi got the opportunity of self employment. Now a days Grameenphone is the biggest mobile phone network in Bangladesh.



         08. Abdul Khaleque Pathan

AK Pathan born in 1959 at Gazipur District. He is well known as the owner of Kaleque group of Industries. There are some sister concern of the group as Keya cosmetic, Khaleque Grments, Khaleque and company, Keya Detergent ltd, Keya Sweater etc.

He passed the secondary school certificate and could not continue his education due to financial lack. In his school life he would sell chocolate when his boyhood friends used to play at evening.

After the days he started to buy and sale chicken from one market to another market at a high price. A few days latter when he earned some money started a partnership business of chicken but his partner cheated on him.
Once his partner sold all the chicken and told him that all the chicken were eaten up by the foxes at night. But Mr. Khaleque reached to know the real mater and terminated the partnership business. He restarted his journey alone and after a few days he founded A brickfield business then the detergent and then became CIP.


                     09. Ahmed abdus sobhan


Ahmed Abdus Sobhan was born in 1952 in Islampur of old Dhaka. He graduated from Dhaka university in business studies.

Mr. Sobhan started his business in 1978 with commercial trading in old DhakaAfter A few days he started the East west property development co which is Bashundhara group.He wort 980 million usd in 2012. He became the president of Bangladesh land development association, President Bangladesh paper mills association, Chairman of Social Islami Bank ltd, Chairman Bangladesh cement manufacturer association. In his business journey he is awarded many honor from government and many more institution.




                       10. Mozammel Houque

Mozammel Hoque is well known as the fonder Bangas and Tallu  group. He was born in very poor family. His Family member used to stay in unfed and starved.
He started education life in village maktob but could not go far due to poverty. He was the only son of his father and he lost him in young life but his sisters and mother depends on him. Mr. Mozammel fall in difficulty to manage daily needs for the family. He came Chuadanga and join keru and co as a distillery agent but he was feeling un comfort but got a chance to buy some land there in a low cost. Once the fate came to him and his land area became a industrial zone. He resigned from his job and started business with a small shoe store and day by day he became the successful businessman.
